IOWA CITY, Ia. – Northwestern dropped Monday's contest at Iowa (21-8, 11-7), 82-61, inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City.
 
Ty Berry led the way for the Wildcats (13-15, 6-13) with 19 points on 5-of-10 shooting from deep, to go along with three rebounds and a team-high two steals. Berry scored in double figures for the third consecutive game, the longest streak of his career. Berry's five threes also tied a career high he set on November 6, 2021, against New Orleans.
 
Brooks Barnhizer set career highs in minutes (20), points (7), and assists (3). Barnhizer also tied a career high with two rebounds. 
 
Ryan Young joined Berry in double figures with 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Pete Nance led the team pulling down eight rebounds.
 
The 'Cats return home on Senior Day to face Minnesota at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, as they face Minnesota on BTN.
