EVANSTON, Ill. – No. 6 Northwestern hosts No. 3 Syracuse in a heavyweight battle at Ryan Fieldhouse on Tuesday at 3 p.m. CT on Big Ten Network. Admission for all fans for the game is free. Dean Linke (play-by-play) and Caley Chelios (analyst) have the call on BTN.

The Wildcats sit at 3-1 after a 17-16 win at No. 17 Notre Dame last Wednesday, with their only loss coming at No. 1 Boston College in the season-opener.

Lauren Gilbert tied a career high with seven goals against Notre Dame, while Brennan Dwyer and Hannah Johnson each contributed three goals. It was Northwestern's first one-goal win since taking down No. 16 Duke by a score of 21-20 on Feb. 17, 2019.

Tuesday's matchup is a rematch of last year's NCAA Tournament semifinal, in which the 'Cats fell to Syracuse 21-13. Northwestern and Syracuse have met every season since 2006, with the 'Cats leading the all-time series 14-6. The Wildcats and Orange have battled five times in the NCAA tournament, with last season's semi-final being Northwestern's only loss of the five matchups.

Parking will be limited due to campus parking hours (8 a.m. - 4 p.m. enforcement). Fans may park in the North Parking Garage at the $9 daily rate and additional parking may be found near main campus in the surrounding Evanston area. Please note that parking in surface lots on campus requires a university parking permit and all fans are asked to heed posted signage in all parking areas. For more information on campus parking options click here.

No. 3 Syracuse is the first of a three-game stretch against top-5 opponents for the 'Cats, who are set to travel to Chapel Hill to face No. 2 North Carolina on Sunday and battle No. 4 Stony Brook at Ryan Fieldhouse the following Thursday.
