Chopra Leads Charge Before Windon Play Suspended

Glencoe, Ill. - Northwestern Men's Golf wrapped up the first day of the Windon Memorial with a strong performance from Varun Chopra, as the graduate student sits among the leaders at Lake Shore Country Club in Glencoe, Ill.
The second round of the tournament was halted due to darkness on Monday, and will resume on Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m.
A second-round 66 from Chopra helped keep the 'Cats in contention in a 14-team field including ranked opponents Georgia Tech and Kansas. First-year Cameron Adam continued to build on his strong start to the 2021 season with a second round 69 to shoot up the leaderboard in Glencoe.
