DURHAM, N.C. – No. 4 Northwestern continues its loaded non-conference slate with three ranked matchups in the span of five days.

The Wildcats hit the road for the first time this season for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge in Durham, North Carolina. The 'Cats will face off against No. 12 Duke on Friday at 5 pm CT, followed by a showdown vs. No. 7 Boston College on Sunday at 10 am CT. Both matches will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra. Following that, Tracey Fuchs' squad will head to Lynchburg, Virginia for a Top-10 Tuesday matinee at No. 10 Liberty.

Northwestern and Boston College last met in 2019, when the teams split the season series, 1-1, but the Golden Eagles ultimately came away with a 2-1 decision in the first round of the NCAA Tournament after a goal in the game's final minute of regulation.

After its first weekend in action, Northwestern ranks among the top-5 in the nation in scoring margin (4.0, fifth in the nation) as well as goals per game (5.0, tied for second in the nation).

Junior Bente Baekers scored three goals and added two assists in Northwestern's two games last weekend. Baekers' three goals are second-most in the conference, while her eight points is tied for the most among all Big Ten players. As a redshirt junior, Baekers currently sits at 46 career goals (8th most inprogram history) and 102 career points (11th most in program history) in just 42 career games played entering this weekend.

While missing five starters to Team USA last week, multiple Wildcat players stepped up in their absence – Liese Wareham, Chloe Relford and Regan Cornelius each scored their first-career goals, while senior Maren Seidel scored two goals against #6 UConn in what marked the second multi-goal game of her career (first since 2018).
