DAVIS, Calif. – No. 4 Northwestern travels to the Golden State this weekend for a pair of non-conference matchups.
The Wildcats will first take on UC Davis on Friday evening at 7 pm CT, followed by a Sunday matinee with California at 2 pm CT.
Last weekend, the Wildcats claimed a pair of decisive victories over Top-25 opponents at Lakeside Field–besting No. 23 Kent State, 6-1, followed by a 5-0 shutout over No. 25 Maine.
Six different Wildcats contributed in the scoring in Northwestern's win over Kent State, with the 'Cats scoring four goals on five penalty corner attempts. On Sunday, the NU defense turned in yet another masterful performance, holding Maine without a shot over the final three quarters of action en route to their third shutout over a ranked opponent this season.
12 different Wildcats have already scored a goal this season. Bente Baekers leads the way with eight goals scored, followed by Clara Roth and Maren Seidel who each have four. Senior Liese Wareham has a career-high three goals, while Peyton Halsey and Chloe Relford each have two apiece.
The Wildcats' game on Friday evening will be available to stream on America East TV, while Sunday's game can be accessed via Pac 12 Plus.
