EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern opens Big Ten play against Wisconsin on Sunday at Welsh-Ryan Arena and will celebrate Autism Awareness Day. Tip off is set for 2 p.m. CT and will be streamed on B1G+.

Fans in attendance can view the promotions here, including information on the annual Autism Awareness game, where the program aims to raise awareness about people with autistic spectrum disorders.  There are free replica t-shirts for fans and an enhanced gameday experience including a quiet room, activations on the concourse, and educational initiatives.

The Wildcats are coming off a 72-61 comeback win at Clemson in the B1G/ACC Challenge on Thursday. The 'Cats trailed by as many 13 points in the first half.

Senior Veronica Burton scored a career-high 32 points, with a 14-15 mark from the FT line, in one of her best games as a Wildcat. She added five rebounds, four assists, three blocks and two steals.

Burton ranks fourth nationally in total win shares with 3.6 per Her Hoop Stats. She is playing up to her top billing with averages of 19.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 3.8 steals and 1.3 blocks per game.

The 'Cats outshot the Tigers at the three-point line 44% to 13%. The 'Cats have a 21-point difference in three point field goal percentage between wins (39%) and losses (18%).

Northwestern has won the last five matchups against Wisconsin dating back to the 2018 Big Ten Tournament. The average winning margin in those contests is 17 points.
 
NU owns a 43-32 advantage over the Badgers all-time and a 16-4 record under Joe McKeown.

The Wildcats continue to lead the Big Ten in steals per game (11.0) and blocks per game (6.9)
