'Cats Prepare for Vandy, Harvard Doubleheader

EVANSTON, Ill. – After a week off, Northwestern Men's Tennis returns to the Combe Tennis Center this Friday, February 21 to take on Vanderbilt at 4 p.m., then travels to Cambridge, Mass. to face off against No. 14 Harvard on Sunday, February 23 at 10 a.m. CT.
 
It's been over a month since the 'Cats (5-3) have played a match in Evanston, with their last home match taking place on January 19 against IUPUI. Northwestern pushed for a convincing win in that match with a 4-0 clinched victory. The 'Cats currently boast a 3-1 record at home.
 
In their most recent weekend of away play on Friday, February 7, Northwestern powered ahead to a 4-2 victory over Kentucky, securing the doubles point and boasting three singles wins from Nick Brookes, Trice Pickens, and Chris Ephron.
 
Following the two matches this weekend, Northwestern returns home for a double-header on February 29, hosting Columbia and UIC. The matches are set for 12 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. respectively.
