EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern basketball returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 15, as they face off with No. 13 Penn State at the Bryce Jordan Center. Tip-off is set for 11 a.m. on Big Ten Network.

Last time out, first year Jared Jones had a career night in Welsh-Ryan Arena. Jones set career highs in field goals (6), points (12), and minutes played (20). His 12 points was the first time Jones had led NU in scoring and the third straight game he's set a career high in that category.

Saturday will be the 51st meeting between Northwestern and Penn State and the first this season. The two teams last met up in February 2018 at Welsh-Ryan Arena.

STORYLINES:

Boo Buie: Buie has led the team in scoring four times this season. The most by a true first year in a single since since 2015-16.

Miller Time: Miller Kopp has only missed seven free throws this season and is shooting 87.3% (48-55) from the line. That clip has Kopp just outside of NU's all-time top-10 for a single season.
