Wildcats Tripped Up by Hawkeyes at Welsh-Ryan Arena

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern lost to Iowa, 77-51, in Sunday afternoon's game at Welsh-Ryan Arena.
The Wildcats are now 12-2 overall and 2-1 in Big Ten play.
In the first half junior Lindsey Pulliam led the #B1GCats with 11 points and a rebound. Senior Abi Scheid had five points and four rebounds.
In the second half, Pulliam, again, led the Wildcats with 14 points and four rebounds. Sophomore Veronica Burton was right behind her with seven points, three rebounds and two steals.
Overall, Pulliam led Chicago's Big Ten Team with 25 points and five rebounds. This was Pulliam's fourth straight game in which she scored more than 20 points.
Burton had 10 points, three rebounds and four steals while Scheid finished with seven points and five rebounds. This was Burton's fourth straight game in which she had at least four steals.
The Cats' will be back in action on Thursday as they face Minnesota on the road. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
