‘Cats Head to Michigan for Two B1G Matches

EVANSTON, Ill. – Coming off of two conference wins over the weekend, Northwestern will head to Michigan to face off against #20 Michigan and Michigan State for another Big Ten weekend doubleheader.
 
With impressive wins over both Iowa (6-1) and Nebraska (5-2), the 'Cats have extended their win streak to three matches and will look to build on their current 3-2 conference record.
 
Michigan is coming off of a two-match win streak, defeating Purdue, 4-3  and Indiana, 5-2. The Wolverines are currently 12-5 in doubles play and 3-2 in the conference. The Wildcats will take on U of M Friday afternoon in Ann Arbor at 2 pm CT.
 
Michigan State is currently 6-14 in doubles play and 0-5 in the conference. The Spartans are currently on a three-match drought after falling to Ohio State (0-7), Indiana (0-7) and Purdue (1-6). MSU will face Illinois Saturday afternoon before welcoming the 'Cats to East Lansing on Sunday at 11 am CT.
