COLUMBUS, Ohio – Northwestern closed out the regular season defeating Ohio State 17-12, Thursday night at Ohio Stadium.
 
Senior Selena Lasota led with a game-high six goals, shooting .54 pct on the day and bringing her career total to 267.
 
The 'Cats had three student-athletes with at least two goals including four from first-year Izzy Scane, three from junior Lindsey McKone and two from sophomore Lauren Gilbert. Junior Megan Kinna and senior Claire Quinn each also had one goal to round out NU's total 17 scores.
 
For the fifth straight game, sophomore Brennan Dwyer grabbed at least ten draw controls to help Northwestern dominate the circle, 18-13. The Wildcats also shot near their season average at .50 in free-positions shots.
 
The Wildcats will be back on the field for the Big Ten Tournament in Baltimore, Md. The tournament will run from May 3-5 with the first round of play on Friday and the championship on Sunday.
