Wildcats In Top-10 After Round One of The Goodwin

The Wildcats were paced by first-year David Nyfjäll, and sophomore Eric McIntosh after each carding a 1-over 71 to tie for 24th. The duo also recorded three birdies apiece.
Byron Nelson Award finalist Ryan Lumsden is in the top-50 of the 132 competitors with a 2-over 72 performance in the first round. The senior is tied for 37th after making par on 12 holes.
Chicago's Big Ten Team is 10 shots off the lead with an 8-over 288 score. Washington sits first (-2) followed by host team, Stanford (-1).
Northwestern is set to tee in round two of The Goodwin tomorrow morning from the first hole at 10:25 a.m. CT with live scoring on Golfstat.
