EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern (5-6, 0-2 B1G) will wrap up its non-conference slate on Sunday afternoon as the WildcatsΒ welcome the Hartford Hawks (6-7, 0-0 American East) to Welsh-Ryan Arena. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. on Big Ten Network.Β
Last time out, Northwestern dropped an 83-78 decision at DePaul before the holiday break. First-year Boo Buie and Sophomore Miller Kopp led the way for the WIldcats.Β Buie (25) andΒ Kopp (21) each scored 20-or-more points in the same game for the second time this season. The underclassmen duo each dropped 20 points at Boston College (12/3/19) earlier this season.
Sunday's game is the first all-time meeting between Northwestern and Hartford.Β The Wildcats have won their last five regular-season non-conference finales.Β

Boo the Bucket: In the last two games, Boo Buie averaged 25.5 points, 5.0 assists, 29.0 minutes, while shooting 62.1% from the field and 56.3% from behind the arc.Β
Non-Con:Β Miller Kopp (12.1), Ryan Young (11.9) and Pat Spencer (11.1) are all averaging double figuresΒ in non-conference games this season.Β
More on Boo:Β With his third 20-point game of the season, Boo Buie is the first NU rookie to have three 20-point games in a single season since Dave Sobolewski in 2011-12.
