Wildcats Travel to Louisville and Cincinnati for Double Header

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Northwestern men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set for an eventful weekend, with dual-meets against Louisville and Cincinnati. The 'Cats will kick off the weekend at 2 p.m. on Friday in Louisville and finish with a second meet at 11 a.m. on Saturday in Cincinnati.
The Wildcats are coming off a tri-dual meet against Iowa and Wisconsin that saw several 'Cats deliver impressive performances. Sophomore DJ Hwang captured first place in the 1000 free with a season-best time of 9:13.96. Sophomore Sophie Angus followed suit with a win in the 100 breast.
Angus' success carried over to the 200 breast, where she and sophomore Becky Kamau finished first and second, respectively. Senior Olivia Rosendahl continued her dominance on the boards, claiming the top spot in both the 1 and 3-meter dives.
Louisville's men's and women's teams are coming off a dual-meet victory at the University of Missouri, while Cincinnati's teams finished up a quad-dual meet against Virginia Tech, George Washington and George Madison.
