EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern will host No. 4 Iowa on Sunday as the Hawkeyes visit Evanston for the first time in over three years. The match is set for 2 p.m. CT at the new Welsh-Ryan Arena.

Chicago's Big Ten Team is coming off a weekend in which it split matches against No. 11 Wisconsin and No. 7 Minnesota. The Wildcats took down the Badgers in Madison last Friday before falling to the Gophers in Evanston on Sunday.

No. 15 Conan Jennings punctuated the upset win over Wisconsin with a victory over No. 9 Trent Hillger in the day's final bout. Jennings came out on top after three overtime periods, and with the win moved up to No. 15 in the nation in the heavyweight division.

No. 3 Ryan Deakin also continued his impressive season over the weekend, winning both of his matches and picking up another ranked win. Deakin defeated Devin Bahr by technical fall on Friday before beating No. 7 Steve Bleise via 9-4 decision on Sunday. The redshirt sophomore, ranked third in the nation at 157, has now racked up four top-ten wins on the campaign.

Sunday's matchup will be highlighted by two rematches from first-place bouts in last month's Midlands Championships, which were both won by Wildcats.

At 125, No. 1 Sebastian Rivera is set to face off against No. 2 Spencer Lee. The two met in the finals at Midlands—with Lee ranked first and Rivera second—in what was their third career meeting, with Rivera taking the Hawkeye grappler down three times and racing to a 7-3 victory. Rivera has held the top spot in the weight class since the result, with Lee just behind at No. 2.

Another marquee matchup will be in the offing at 157, where Deakin will take on No. 5 Kaleb Young. The pair also met in the championship bout at Midlands, with Deakin the victor by decision, 6-2. Young has since moved up three spots in the national rankings to make Sunday's bout a contest between top-five grapplers.

The match will be the fifth-straight conference dual against a top-11 team in the nation for NU, as the Big Ten has proven once again to be the nation's best group. There are 10 Big Ten teams ranked in the top 20 in both the USA Today/NWCA Coaches' Poll and the Intermat tournament rankings, where Northwestern comes in at No. 11.
