Janet Mao was one of the brightest stars on the leaderboard on Tuesday. She began her day with a bogey on No. 9, but then scorched the back-nine with birdies on 10, 13, 17 and 18, before finishing out the day with seven more pars and a birdie on No. 3 to finish off a 3-under 69, the best round of the weekend by a Wildcat. Carding one of the field's five-best scores of the day propelled her 25 spots up the leaderboard, one of the two biggest movers of the final day of competition, to finish tied for 28th with classmate Stephanie Lau.
Sophomore Brooke Riley registered five birdies during her round, including two of her final five holes, to post a 1-under 71. Seniors Sarah Cho and Hannah Kim both finished the day with three birdies on their cards, signing matching even-par 72's to wrap up the competition in a tie for 12th and 15th, respectively.
The Wildcats now set their sights on the 2018 Big Ten Championships next weekend, hosted for the second consecutive year at the beautiful TPC River's Bend in Maineville, Ohio. Northwestern has brought three of the last five Big Ten titles home to Evanston, most recently back-to-back crowns in 2015 and 2016.

T12 – Sarah Cho -- 73-72-72 = 217 (+1)
T15 – Hannah Kim -- 74-72-72 = 218 (+2)
T28 – Stephanie Lau – 76-70-75 = 221 (+5)
