Northwestern to Start Big Ten Play at Indiana

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern (6-1, 0-0 Big Ten) is set to travel to take on Indiana (5-2, 0-0 Big Ten) in the conference opener on Saturday at Assembly Hall. The game will tip off at 12 p.m. CT.
Northwestern is coming off a 67-61 victory over Georgia Tech in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Wednesday, November 28. Graduate guard Ryan Taylor led the Wildcats with a 20-point performance, including four three-point baskets.
Senior forward Vic Law has scored in double-digits in all seven games so far this season and is averaging a team-best 17.9 points per game, in addition to 6.3 rebounds per game and 3.1 assists per game.
Indiana matched up with No. 3 Duke in their part of the Challenge, and dropped a 90-69 matchup to the highly-touted Blue Devils. Rookie guard Romeo Langford paced IU wth 13 points.
Originally scheduled to be a 4 p.m. tip-off, the start was shifted by the Conference on Nov. 16. The day will be an eventful one for Wildcat fans in the Hoosier State, with the football squad playing in the Big Ten Championship Game at 7 p.m. CT in Indianapolis, Indiana.
