The Wildcats are 8-3-1 on the season and 2-3-1 in conference, coming off a tough 1-0 overtime loss at Rutgers on Thursday night. The 'Cats are 2-0 this season following a defeat.

The Northwestern defense still owns the best marks in the Big Ten in goals-against-average (.512) and save percentage (.870).
Seniors Marisa Viggiano and Kayla Sharples have started every match in their Northwestern career, with Thursday being their 81st consecutive start. They need eight more starts to tie to program record set by Lauren Clem in 2017.
The 'Cats have only matched up against the Terrapins four times in program history, owning an undefeated 3-0-1 mark. Head Coach Michael Moynihan's side has won the last three matchups, including a 2-0 win in Evanston last season fueled by goals from Lovera and senior Hannah Davison.
