STARTING FIVE
The #B1GCats will be featuring Dylan Wu, Ryan Lumsden, Andrew Whalen, Everton Hawkins, and Conor Richardson.

PRIOR RETURNS
Junior Wu had a dazzling performance at last year's Big Ten Championships at Victoria National in Newburgh, Indiana, finishing in a sixth-place tie after shooting a 3-under 213 (72-72-69). In his freshman campaign, the Medford, Oregon, native also notched a top-20 finish, notching an 18th-place tie, also at Victoria National.

This will be redshirt senior Andrew Whalen's fourth trip to Big Tens and sophomore Ryan Lumsden's second jaunt at the Championships.

FINISH STRONG
The Wildcats have finished in second place twice and third place once in their previous three tournaments. In their two second-place finishes, the 'Cats were a combined three strokes from the lead.

WILD ABOUT HISTORY
Northwestern is ranked fifth in Big Ten history in both team titles (8) and medalists (12) at the Championships.

RECORD WATCH
Wu's 70.27 stroke average this season is the 17th-lowest in the nation and is on pace to be the lowest mark in program history, edging Luke Donald's 70.45 mark in 1998-99.

In his 91 rounds up to this point in his collegiate career, the junior has registered a career stroke average of 71.64, which sits second-best in NU history (Donald's 70.95 mark from 1997-2001 is tops).

DYLAN WU? MORE LIKE DYLAN WOW
In addition to his low scoring average this campaign, Wu also leads the 'Cats in a variety of other statistical categories: rounds of par or better (21), rounds in 60s (10), top-five finishes (5), top place (1st), and most birdies (92).

GET LUMSDEN THE HOLE
Lumsden leads the way on the squad with six eagles, four more than the next-closest 'Cat. The London, England, native's 72.04 scoring average is second-lowest on the squad and is on pace to be one of the top marks in program history.

EVER-TON OF SUCCESS
Freshman Hawkins has the third-lowest scoring average (73.30) among Big Ten freshmen, trailing Illinois' Michael Feagles (72.37) and Thomas Longbella (73.08).

BIG TEN, BIG GOLF
The Big Ten Championships will see seven Golfstat top-60 teams participate, including Northwestern, who is second among the cohort ranked at 32nd-overall. The Wildcats are 18-7 against their conference foes this season.

MARYLAND MEMORIES
The last time the Wildcats played a tournament in Maryland was September 2009, when NU took a first-place finish at the Navy Fall Classic in Annapolis, Maryland.

DON'T NEED A WEATHERMAN
Friday will be mostly sunny with a high near 83, a west wind 5 to 7 mph and a 40 percent chance of precipitation. Saturday will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high near 82. Sunday will also have a chance of showers and thunderstorms and will be chillier with a high near 73.
