EVANSTON, Ill. – Winners of four of its last five, Northwestern hits the road for a pair of matches in Big Ten play this weekend. The 19th-ranked Wildcats are at No. 30 Wisconsin on Friday and No. 33 Minnesota on Sunday.
The 'Cats (14-6, 2-1) and Badgers (12-2, 3-0) are set to go at 6 p.m. Friday evening, while the match at Minnesota (13-4, 2-0) is scheduled for noon on Sunday.

Series History
Northwestern leads the all-time series with Wisconsin, 63-39. The 'Cats have won five in a row dating back to the 2011-12 season, outscoring the Badgers 28-4 in that span.
The Gophers hold a narrow 51-49 advantage in the series against the Wildcats. Northwestern won the most recent meeting, a 4-0 shutout last season. The teams have split the last eight matches going back to 2008-09.

Strong Kirchheimer is sitting on 99 career singles wins, just one shy of becoming the fifth Northwestern player ever to reach the 100 mark. With his last win at Indiana, Kirchheimer passed Marc Silva (1995-99) and Danny Weiss (1981-85) for fifth all-time. Next up is Ry Tarpley (1994-98) for fourth with 102.
Kirchheimer has also had one of the most distinguished doubles careers in NU history. He has 68 career doubles wins, which ranks second all-time at Northwestern. He trails Adam Schaechterle (2002-06) by just one. Schaechterle won 69 times in his career. With just two more wins, Kirchheimer will become the all-time winningest doubles player in program history.
