Wildcats Return to Midwest For Kepler Intercollegiate

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern will continue competition on Saturday, April 9, in Columbus, Ohio, for the The Robert Kepler Intercollegiate, hosted by Ohio State.
The Robert Kepler Intercollegiate is played at the par-71, 7,455-yard Scarlet Course at the Ohio State University Golf Club.
Northwestern has a strong history in this event, having captured four team titles over the years. That ranks tied for third third since the tournament's inception in 1969 behind only Ohio State and Kent State. Big Ten rival Indiana also has four team titles at the event.
The tournament represents a return to the Midwest for Northwestern during the lead up to the 2016 Big Ten Championships. Following this event, the Wildcats will play in The Boilermaker next weekend prior to the conference tournament April 22-24.

Forecasted inclement weather for Columbus over the weekend has altered the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate competition schedule. The 46th running of the Kepler has been shortened to 36 holes total splits between a pair of 10:30 a.m. ET shotgun starts on Saturday (Apr. 9) and Sunday (Apr. 10).

Northwestern concluded play at The 2016 Goodwin on Saturday at the Stanford Golf Course, wrapping up its Spring Break trip with a Top-8 finish in the 26-team field finishing above No. 1 USC. The Wildcats shot 14-over 854 during the three-day, 54-hole tournament at the par-70, 6,727-yard Stanford University Golf Course.
Sophomore Dylan Wu paced the Wildcats for his best career finish at the Goodwin, shooting 3-under 67 in the final round. Wu finished 13th overall in the field at 1-over 211 (70-74-67).
