EVANSTON, Ill. — No. 7 Northwestern will begin its postseason campaign on Sunday, Nov. 6, when it visits the second-seeded Indiana Hoosiers for a showdown in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals at noon CT.

Sunday's action will be streamed on BTN2Go and fans can also follow along with live stats.

How We Got Here
Northwestern finished tied for sixth with Ohio State in the final Big Ten Conference standings with a 3-4-1 mark in league play thanks to the Wildcats' 1-0 victory over Penn State (Oct. 30) in the regular season conference finale.

The Buckeyes earned the tiebreaker for the No. 6 seed.

Hot Finish
Northwestern heads into postseason play having won four of its last five matches, including a 2-1 overtime victory against then-No. 2 Notre Dame.

Previous Meeting
Indiana, which is currently ranked No. 8 in the country by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, enters Sunday's match with a 10-1-6 record overall and a 3-0-5 tally in conference matches.

One of IU's six ties came on Sept. 18 when Northwestern visited Bill Armstrong Stadium. Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Robbie White made the first start of his college career and faced 28 shots, but managed to keep the Hoosiers off the board and the teams played to a scoreless draw.

White was named the Big Ten Conference's Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts. Unfortunately, the Glen Ellyn, Illinois, native sustained a season-ending injury in the game.

Recent History
Northwestern and Indiana have played to a tie in six of their last eight meetings, which includes penalty kick decisions during the 2011 and 2014 conference tournaments.

Northwestern advanced 5-3 on PKs in 2011, while the Hoosiers moved on in 2014 on a 5-4 advantage.

Northwestern's Leaders
Senior captain Brandon Medina leads the team with nine points on four goals and one assist. The #B1GCats midfielder had a book ending to the regular season by scoring two goals in the lidlifter against Florida Gulf Coast (Aug. 26) and the game-winner against Marian (WI) in the season finale on Nov. 1.

Elo Ozumba and Jeffrey Hopson each have contributed three goals on the campaign, while both of Mike Roberge's goals this season have come as game-winners (vs. Michigan on Sept. 25; vs. Notre Dame on Oct. 18).

Francisco Tomasino has started and played in 14 games this season. The junior has a 5-9-0 record in net and has made 60 saves, while tallying a 1.62 goals against average.

His 4.30 saves per game average ranks second in the conference.

Indiana's Leaders
The Hoosiers have a trio of double-digit point scorers on their roster. Tanner Thompson leads the team with 18 points on eight goals and two assists, while Trevor Swartz and Richard Ballard have compiled 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Colin Webb has started and played in 14 games this season and owns a 8-1-4 record in those contests. Webb boasts a 0.79 goals against average and has posted seven shutouts.

The Big Ten Tournament
The winner of Sunday's quarterfinals match between Northwestern and Indiana will advance to play the winner of No. 3 Wisconsin versus No. 6 Ohio State. The semifinals will take place on Friday, Nov. 11 at Grand Park in Westfield, Ind.
