Wilimovsky Puts on Strong Performance at USA College Challenge

RESULTS
 
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Jordan Wilimovsky and Almog Olshtein represented Northwestern men's swimming and diving at the USA College Challenge, presented by arena, over the weekend, as Team USA topped the Big Ten Conference, 349-247.
 
Wilimovsky had a strong showing over the weekend by picking up six points for the conference. The Northwestern senior placed fourth in the 500 free (4:20.53) on Saturday, before turning in a second place result in the 1,000 free on Sunday with a time of 8:46.34 – less than a second off of his Northwestern record time of 8:45.66.
 
Olshtein swam for the Big Ten in the 400 medley and 400 free relays, while also competing in the 50 free. His 50 free time of 20.58 was a season-best.

Wilimovsky and Olshtein will return to action this weekend when Northwestern holds its annual TYR Invitational at the Norris Aquatics Center from Nov. 18-20.
