EVANSTON, Ill. – No. 6 Northwestern faces a pair of challenging road tests as it travels to Indiana on Friday and No. 8 Louisville on Sunday.

Friday's contest gets underway at 2 p.m. Central time while Sunday's matchup starts at noon.

The Wildcats (10-2, 4-0 B1G) ride an eight-game winning streak into Friday's conference tilt against the Hoosiers. NU notched a pair of road wins last weekend, defeating Rutgers 5-3 on Friday and Drexel 7-2 on Sunday.

Isabel Flens scored twice against the Scarlet Knights before tallying a hat trick in the first nine minutes of the contest against the Dragons. For her efforts, the senior was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week. It's the third straight week that an NU player has earned the honor, following on the heels of Eva van Agt (Sept. 20) and Pascale Massey (Sept. 27).

Flens leads the team and ranks second in the Big Ten and seventh nationally with 12 goals this season.

Dominique Masters, who has nine goals in 2016, ranks fourth among all active players with 49 career goals while Flens is sixth with 46.

Northwestern is fourth in the nation with an average of 4.33 goals per contest. The Wildcats have scored five or more goals in a game six times during its current eight-match winning streak. NU's balanced attack features seven players who have posted four or more goals this year.

The Wildcats bring a perfect 4-0 Big Ten record into play this weekend and are in sole possession of first place in the league standings at the midway point of the conference season. NU is seeking its first Big Ten regular season title since 2013.

Scouting Indiana
The Hoosiers (6-6, 1-2 B1G) are looking to bounce back from a pair of tough overtime losses last weekend as they fell to Iowa, 2-1, and Miami (Ohio), 4-3. Kate Barber is the Big Ten's leader in goal scoring, entering the week with 15 tallies this season. In goal, Noelle Rother sports a 2.53 goals-against average with a .678 save percentage. Indiana is looking for its first win over a ranked opponent this season (0-5). The Hoosiers topped Northwestern, 3-2, in the last meeting between the teams on Sept. 27 of last season in Bloomington. NU leads the all-time series, 13-8, but is just 4-5 in matches played in Bloomington.

Scouting Louisville
The Cardinals take a 10-2 overall mark into Friday's home game against Boston College. Louisville notched a 2-0 home win over Iowa on Sunday. Minout Mink is the team's leading goal scorer with 11 while Erin McCrudden leads the nation with 14 assists. Ayeisha McFerran is first nationally in both goals-against average (0.74) and save percentage (.818), helping Louisville rank tops the nation in both categories. The Cardinals lead the all-time series with the Wildcats, 6-1, including winning the last two meetings and both previous matchups in Louisville.
