EVANSTON, Ill. — No. 17 Northwestern will wrap up non-conference play Saturday when it hosts Ball State under the lights at Ryan Field.
Riding three-straight wins, the Wildcats and their top-ranked defense will look to shut down the Cardinals in primetime on the Big Ten Network with Matt Devlin (play-by-play) and Chuck Long (analyst) on the call. Fans can also stream the game on their mobile and wirelss devices through BTN2GO. As always, the game will also be broadcast on WGN 720 with the voice of the Wildcats Dave Eanet, his partner Ted Albrecht and sideline reporter Adam Hoge.

Ball State Notes
• Ball State ranks among the top-five FBS offenses – along with Baylor, Duke, Oklahoma and Arizona – with the lowest percentage of negative plays over the last four years.
• The Cardinals have experience in the trenches with the entire starting offensive line returning from 2014 and three of four starting defensive lineman back for the 2015 season.
• Northwestern is one of four programs that Ball State is playing for the first time in 2015. The others are VMI, Texas A&M and Georgia State.
• Pete Lembo is the first Ball State head coach in school history to win 30 games in the first four seasons at the helm.
