EVANSTON, Ill. — Coming off a pair of wins over Ohio State and UCF, the Northwestern men's soccer program will look to carry the momentum into a pair of road games at Michigan and UIC.

The Wildcats (2-2-1, 1-0-0 Big Ten) will travel to Ann Arbor Sunday for a 3 p.m. match against the Wolverines. Fans can watch the match on BTN2GO. Chicago's Big Ten Team will then take on fellow Chicago foe UIC on Wednesday, September 23 at 6 p.m.

The 'Cats' contest against the Flames will start a stretch of eight of the next nine contests that will be played in the greater Chicago area. The only game from September 23 to October 27 played outside Chicagoland will be at Maryland on Oct. 2.

Roberge Scores First Career Goal
Freshman Jake Roberge found the back of the net for the first time in his career in the Wildcats' 1-0 victory over UCF last Monday. Roberge, the younger brother of junior Mike Roberge, played 33 minutes in the contest, but his header in the 81st minute proved to be the game winner as the 'Cats recorded their first shutout of the season.

Calistri Moves Up The Ranks
Senior forward Joey Calistri has sparked the 'Cats' offense over the last two games, scoring a pair of goals and assisting on Roberge's game-winning goal. The senior recorded his fourth career multi-goal game in the Wildcats' 2-1 win over Ohio State in the Big Ten opener to earn Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors and move into sole possession of third place in NU history with 29 career goals.

Allen's Clean Sheet
Chicago native and senior goalkeeper Zak Allen picked up his first shutout of the season on Monday when he made four saves in the Wildcats' 1-0 win over UCF. Allen had one previous shutout two seasons ago when filling in for an injured Tyler Miller, but the 'Cats drew in that game against Ohio State. Allen could have consecutive shutouts over the two-game winning streak had NU not given up an own goal in the 2-1 win over Ohio State.

Scouting the Wolverines
Michigan enters the weekend 2-2-1 overall and 0-0-1 in Big Ten play after playing a scoreless 110 minutes against No. 4 Maryland in the conference opener. The Wolverines are averaging 1.20 goals per game and have been led by Francis Atuahene's three goals. Five different players have chipped in with one assist each and Evan Louro has played all 481:12 between the pipes, posting a 0.94 goals-against average and .774 save percentage.

Scouting the Flames
UIC enters the weekend 3-2-1 and similarly will play a game on Sunday, Sept. 20 against Green Bay before facing off against the Wildcats. The Flames won their first two games, but have gone 1-2-1 since, with both losses coming on the road. Jorge Alvarez leads the team with four points (1g, 2 a), while Manny Chavez is the team leader with a pair of goals. Andrew Putna has posted a 0.96 goals-against average and .750 saver percentage in 560:00 minutes.
