EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern's final regular season tournament of the 2014-15 season is this weekend, April 18-19, at The Boilermaker hosted by Purdue at its home Kampen Course in West Lafayette, Indiana.
The difficult Kampen Course -- which will serve as a host for a 2017 NCAA Regional as well as the 2018 NCAA National Championship -- will play to a 7,465-yard, par-72 layout for this tournament. Live results for The Boilermaker will be provided by BirdieFire.com.
Teams will play 36 holes Saturday in a 7:45 a.m. CT/8:45 a.m. ET shotgun start followed by the same shotgun time Sunday for the final round.
Following this event, the Wildcats will enter postseason play at the 2015 Big Ten Championships April 24-26 at Victoria National Golf Club in Newburgh, Ind. NU will have seen nearly all of the other teams in the conference in recent weeks entering that tournament.
Fifteen teams comprise the field for The Boilermaker, including Big Ten squads Purdue, Ohio State, Northwestern, fourth-ranked Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. The Wildcats are coming off an eighth-place finish at the Buckeyes' home Kepler Intercollegiate where NU defeated fellow B1G foes Penn State, Maryland, Michigan State and Nebraska.
