Jordan Wilimovsky Earns World University Games Roster Berth

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern junior Jordan Wilimovsky (Malibu, Calif./Malibu) has been named to the USA Swimming World University Games roster for the 2015 competition slated for July 4-11 in Gwangju, South Korea.
Wilimovsky, who this summer competed for the United States at the Pan-Pacific Championships, will swim the 1,500 free for U.S. in South Korea.
According to the official USA Swimming press release: "Featuring swimmers ages 17-23 who are current college students or recent graduates, the World University Games has been a springboard to international success for numerous swimmers, including Tyler Clary, (Northwestern graduate) Matt Grevers, Cullen Jones and fellow Olympic gold medalists Rebecca Soni and Dana Vollmer."
Wilimovsky finished second in the Big Ten and fourth in the nation in the 1,650 freestyle last year and is poised to challenge for a conference and national title in the event this season.
