2016-17: All-American at the NCAA Championships in the 500 free and the 1,650 free ... Won the 2017 USA Swimming Open Water Championships in the 10K with a 1:57:45.61 beating the next closest finisher by almost 50 seconds ... Finished fourth at the NCAA Championships in the 1,650 free with a personal-best and program-record 14:23.45 ... That time punched his ticket into the field at the NCAA meet ... Further lowered that school record to 14:58.80 to take 24th at the NCAA Championships, becoming the first Wildcat to ever swim a sub-15:00 mile ...
