Italy Tour Central Page
EVANSTON, Ill. - NUsports.com has debuted its Italy Tour Central page as a one-stop resource to follow the Northwestern men's basketball team throughout its upcoming trip abroad. The page will be a central point to follow along with player blogs, game recaps, photos and video features as the Wildcats depart on Saturday for their nine-day stint in Europe.
Junior center Luka Mirkovic chimes in with the first player blog entry as he details Northwestern's preparations for the trip and discusses what he's looking forward to the most about the excursion. Check back daily for a blog entry from a different Wildcat player.
The 'Cats depart from O'Hare Airport late Saturday afternoon. NU flies into Paris before heading to Rome where it will spend the first three days of its trip. The squad will also visit Florence, Rome and Lake Como before returning to Evanston Sept. 7.
