David Lipsky Named Big Ten Golfer of the Week

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Junior David Lipsky (La Canada, Calif./La Canada) earned Big Ten Golfer of the Week honors after placing seventh at the Cowboy Classic hosted by Wyoming, his third top-10 finish of the season.

Lipsky carded a 2-under 208 at the event and matched his career-best low round with a 67 during Monday's second 18 holes. His under par total marked the second straight tournament a Wildcat has finished under par.

Lipsky is Northwestern's first conference weekly accolade winner since Chris Wilson won the award on April 25, 2006.
