Arizona added three more runs in the fourth. The first two batters reached on a walk and a single, then a double drove home one run. With one out and runners on second and third, Foster got Caitlin Lowe to ground to Garland Cooper (Mission Viejo, Calif./Santa Margarita Catholic) at first, who threw home. The sliding runner kicked the ball from catcher Jamie Dotson's (Santa Ana, Calif./Foothill) glove, however, and two runs scored to give Arizona a 5-0 advantage.

UA added one more run in the sixth to take a 6-0 lead.

After Lowe led off with a double in the seventh, junior Eileen Canney (Paradise, Calif./Paradise) entered the circle for the 'Cats. Foster finished the game with seven strikeouts. She was charged with seven runs, five earned.
