EVANSTON, Ill. - Sophomore Willy Lock (Lima, Peru/Markham) won his second and third-round matches in the qualifying section of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regional Championships Friday, Oct. 22.

Lock -- the seeded second in the qualifying rounds -- began the day by beating Davidson of DePaul 6-3, 6-4. He later defeated Ishtuganov of Indiana 7-67, 6-1.

After winning his opening-round match on Thursday, Oct. 21, junior Adam Schaechterle (Oconomowoc, Wis./Kettle Moraine) fell to Nicodium of Louisville -- the top-ranked player in the qualifying rounds -- 4-6, 0-6.
