Doors to Open 90 Minutes Prior to Games

EVANSTON, Ill. - In an effort to better serve our fans, the Northwestern Athletic Department will now open the doors to Welsh-Ryan Arena 90 minutes prior to all men's basketball home games. This policy will begin with tonight's Wildcat home game against Michigan State and continue indefinitely.
Tonight's tipoff is 6 p.m., with the doors opening at 4:30 p.m.
The Northwestern Athletic Department continues to urge fans to arrive as early as possible to all games to help avoid long lines entering our parking lots and at our lobby ticket windows. We pledge to continue evaluating our challenges in these areas, and will do our best to address the situations to the best of our ability.
Doors will continue to open 60 minutes prior to the start of women's basketball games.
