Men's Tennis Sweeps Wisconsin, 7-0

EVANSTON, Ill. - The men's tennis team topped Wisconsin, 7-0, Sunday afternoon at the Vandy Christie Tennis Center. The sweep was NU's first since defeating Michigan State on Feb. 18. The 'Cats improved to 11-7 on the season and 5-3 in the Big Ten, while the Badgers are now 11-8 overall and 4-4 in the conference.
NU won two of the three doubles matches for the early lead and didn't let up, sweeping the singles. Jamie Sahara, Ryan Edlefsen and Josh Axler each won in straight sets playing at No. 4, 5 and 6, respectively.
The 'Cats are back in action on April 21 when they travel to Penn State and Ohio State to close out the regular season.
