Columbus, Ohio - The Northwestern men's golf team is in second place after two rounds of the Kepler Intercollegiate in Columbus, Ohio. NU shot rounds of 295-295 and trails Michigan by one shot. The Scarlet Course is a par 71 7,221-yard layout.
Individually, senior Luke Donald (High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England/Royal Grammar School), who won the U.S. Collegiate individual title last week, leads the field after shooting rounds of 71-69 (-2). He is four shots ahead of Jeff Olson of Ohio State heading into Sunday's final round. Freshman Tom Johnson (Fair Oaks, Calif./Del Campo) is tied for third at 3-over-par 145.
