Men's Basketball Gets Iowa in First Round

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern University men's basketball team will meet Iowa in the first round of the Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament Thursday night. The 11th-seeded Wildcats and sixth-seeded Hawkeyes are scheduled to tip off at 6:10 p.m. central at the United Center in Chicago.

The winner of Thursday night's game will move on to a meeting with third-seeded Ohio State Friday night at 9 p.m. central. Earlier this season, the Wildcats defeated Iowa, 69-61, at Welsh-Ryan Arena.

Thursday night's game will be broadcast as part of the ESPN Regional package. WCIU-TV in Chicago will be among the channels picking up the feed.
