SUMMARY:
The Northwestern women's soccer team fell to the University of Kentucky at the University of Minnesota Tournament in Minneapolis, Minn. Jen Reese scored Kentucky's first goal in the 30th minute from 10 yards out, off assists from Susie Ledzianowski and Annie Gage. The next two goals in the game belonged to Kentucky as Aimee Brown and Kate Qually both scored. Brown's goal came in the 42nd minute as she dribbled into the box and shot from 15 yards out. Qually followed in the 63rd minute, shooting straight from 14 yards off a Keri Boyce assist.
Northwestern's lone goal came in the 66th minute as Kristen Pearce shot the ball past Wells' hands. Janelle Harwood led Northwestern with four shots.
