Summary: Freshman Kristen Pearce (Morrison, Colo./Bear Creek) scored on a header off a rebound for her first collegiate goal, and the only NU goal in its 3-1 loss to Iowa State this afternoon. Pearce's put back a ball that was shot by freshman Jillian Trezza (Chappaqua, N.Y./Horace Greeley) from Aileen Guiney (Naperville, Ill./North), in the 21st minute. NU keeper Erin Ekeberg (Palatine, Ill./Palatine) had five saves on the night, but it was not enough as the Cylones blew past the 'Cats, scoring two goals in the first half on six shots. ISU sealed the win with a goal in the 81st minute when Nicole Wilcox dribbled across the top of the box and passed to Krista Odenwald who shot from 18 yards out.
