Men's Tennis Defeats Tulsa, 5-0

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern men's tennis team defeated Tulsa, 5-0, in second-day action at the Great Northwest Shootout in Seattle. The Wildcats improved to 3-3 for the spring campaign.
Northwestern began the match by earning the doubles point, taking two out of three matches. Joost Hol and Brad Erickson clinched the point with a heart-stopping, 9-8 win at No. 1. At No. 3, Jackie Jenkins and Russell Bennett were 8-3 winners.
The Wildcats then clinched the win when the bottom four spots in the ladder all won their matches. Jenkins, Bennett, Jamie Sahara and Josh Axler were all straight-set victors.
