Volleyball Falls To No. 13 Ohio State, 3-0

EVANSTON, Ill. -- The Northwestern volleyball team fell to Ohio State, 3-0 Friday night in Columbus. The Wildcats fall to 4-20 (1-13 Big Ten) on the season. The Buckeyes improve to 21-2 (11-2 Big Ten).
Game scores were 15-1, 15-9. 15-13.
Freshman Erika Lange (Orland Park, Ill./Carl Sandburg) led the Wildcats with 10 kills and five blocks. Sarah Ballog (Cota de Caza, Calif./Santa Margarita) added seven kills in the outing.
Adriana Ruhl (Stockton, Calif./Lincoln) and Cassie McKnight (San Marcos, Calif./San Marcos) led the Wildcat defense, each picking up five digs. For Ohio State, Dana Sterns recorded 12 kills, while Shelly Draeger added 11.
The 'Cats are back in action on Friday, Nov. 10 when they travel to Penn State.
