Wildcat Spikers Fall to No. 11 Penn State, 3-0

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern volleyball team fell to No. 11 Penn State, 3-0, Friday night in State College. The Wildcats fall to 4-21 (1-14 Big Ten) on the season. The Nittany Lions improve to 22-5 (11-4 Big Ten).
Game scores were 15-4, 15-4, 15-9.
Freshman Erika Lange (Orland Park, Ill./Carl Sandburg) led the Wildcats with nine kills. Carmen Burbach (Columbus, Neb./Scotus Central Catholic) added seven and a team-high nine digs.
PSU's Mishka Levy had a game-high 11 kills, while Amanda Rome had 11 digs and two blocks to lead the defense.
The 'Cats are back in action on Saturday, Nov. 11 when they travel to Indiana for a 7 p.m. match.
