Imran Niazi joined the volleyball staff as Northwestern’s technical coordinator in 2019 season.

Niazi joined the Wildcats from the University of South Florida women’s volleyball program, where he spent the 2017 and 2018 seasons as the Director of Volleyball Operations.

Prior to working for USF, Niazi was a volunteer assistant coach with the University of California, Santa Barbara. He has also spent time as a head coach with Sunshine Volleyball Club in Southern California.

Niazi graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2013 with a Bachelors of Arts in Communication Studies.
