Daniela Grgas joined Northwestern Athletics as an Assistant Director of Academic Services in August 2026. She works closely with student-athletes from women’s basketball, women’s soccer, and women’s track and field/cross country, providing academic support, degree planning, and guidance throughout their collegiate careers.

Prior to Northwestern, Daniela served as an Academics & Career Advisor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she advised women’s basketball and men’s and women’s swimming and diving. She also previously served as an Assistant Academic Advisor at Florida Atlantic University.

A former Division I women’s soccer student-athlete at Illinois State University, Daniela earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus in Organizational Leadership in 2023. She earned her Master of Business Administration in Sport Management from Florida Atlantic University in 2025.

Originally raised in Henderson, Nevada, Daniela enjoys reading, finding new restaurants throughout Evanston and Chicago, and spending time outdoors.
