Austin Siegel was promoted to Associate Director of Annual Giving in January of 2026 and leads the Wildcat Fund, the annual fund for Northwestern Athletics.
A lifelong Wildcat, Siegel tells the story of Northwestern Athletics through annual giving campaigns that generate revenue for both the Wildcat Fund and 21 varsity athletic programs. In his previous role as Assistant Director of Operations, Events & Premium Seating, Siegel developed the communications strategy behind major gifts and provided operational support at dozens of special events, including as a member of the team that opened Northwestern's temporary football stadium.
Prior to returning to Evanston, Siegel spent time with the Chicago Blackhawks, Kansas State Athletics and TrueNU, where he developed the content and marketing strategy behind Northwestern's NIL collective.
Siegel holds two degrees from Northwestern - a bachelor’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism and a master’s degree in Sports Administration. A Sarasota, Florida native, he lives in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood and is still a member of multiple group chats that began in the student section at Ryan Field.
