Arnold Lee joined the Northwestern Athletic Training staff in July 2026 and serves as the athletic trainer for the softball program.

Lee earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Chicago before completing his Master of Science in Athletic Training at California Baptist University.

Prior to joining Northwestern, Lee worked at Glenbrook North High School, where he provided healthcare for a wide range of student-athletes. Before that, he spent eight seasons with the Chicago Bulls organization. He began his tenure as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Bulls’ NBA G League affiliate before serving seven years as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with the NBA club. During three of those seasons, he also held the role of Assistant Athletic Trainer and Rehabilitation Coordinator. In 2020, Lee served as an athletic trainer for the NBA All-Star Game. From 2017 to 2026, he directed athletic training services for both the NBA Draft Combine and NBA Combine Europe. His professional experience also includes serving as a summer camp and preseason athletic training intern with the Chicago Bears.

Earlier in his career, Lee spent three years at Kennedy-King College, where he provided athletic training services for the men’s and women’s basketball programs as well as the men’s soccer team.

Lee’s professional interests include injury prevention, manual therapy, and functional range conditioning. He is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and is certified in dry needling.

Away from athletics, Lee enjoys exploring local coffee shops, playing golf, and spending time with his wife, Jane, and their two children, Nora and Elias, and their dog Rhys.
