Maggie Eppright joined Northwestern Athletics from Fresno State University where she held the role of Recruiting Coordinator the last four seasons. The 2022 recruiting class for the ‘Dogs included the first Gatorade Player of the Year in program history, the first PrepVolleyball High School All-American in program history, and the first AVCA All-American since 2011. The 2019 class for Fresno State also received honorable mention honors from Prep Volleyball.

Eppright primarily worked with passing and defense responsibilities and assisted with offensive scouts. Fresno State's 22 wins in 2018 were its most in 16 years and the 'Dogs earned an automatic bid to the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC), the team's first postseason selection since 2002, and a first round NIVC win over UC Santa Barbara on Nov. 29 was the 'Dogs first postseason victory since 1995. In the last four seasons, Eppright yielded three consecutive All-Conference libero honorees.

In 2018, Eppright helped lead the 'Dogs to a 22-11 overall record and 13-5 mark in the MW as the team broke the program record for conference wins in a season and finished in 2nd place in the MW for the first time after being picked seventh in the preseason MW Coaches' Poll.

Eppright helped lead sophomore libero Reagan Leonard to an All-MW honorable mention selection as she broke the single-season program record with 605 digs in 2018, topping Eppright's previous program-best 573 digs in 2015. As a team the Bulldogs broke the single season program record with 1,999 digs on the year while leading the MW with 15.51 digs per set in conference play. Eppright has been a technical assistant for USA Volleyball’s Men’s National team since 2017. She assisted technical coordinator Nate Ngo with cleaning scout files through the last quad, including the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

Beginning her coaching career as a volunteer assistant at Cal Poly, Eppright helped facilitate practice plans, worked directly with ball control & liberos, and assisted with Data Volley, scout videos and official visit logistics. The 2017 team Eppright assisted with yielded three All-American honorees, a top 25 finish in the AVCA polls, and a 2nd round NCAA Appearance.

As a player at Fresno State, Eppright was a four-year starter at libero, two-year team captain, and was a 2015 All-Mountain West selection. She holds the program record for career digs per set (3.90) and is second in program history with 1,788 career digs. She is fourth in Mountain West history in career digs and still holds the conference’s single-season program record with 573 digs in 2015. Eppright shined off the court as well in her time as a Fresno State student-athlete as she was Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) President and was the Mountain West nominee for 2017 NCAA Woman of the Year. She earned two CoSIDA Academic All-District selections and was a four-time Academic All-MW honoree.
