In her first at-bat of the season--and the second of her career--hit a pinch hit solo home run against Texas Tech (2/10) ... Clubbed an RBI double against Syracuse (2/24) ... Threw two scoreless innings of relief at Nebraska, allowing just one hit and one walk ... Was hit by a pitch in a pinch hit appearance to extend a six-run rally in a Northwestern win at Wisconsin (4/1) ... Ripped a pinch hit single in a win over Iowa (4/8) ... Earned her first-career start at Loyola (Chicago), allowing just one unearned run in 3.2 innings of work (4/24) ... Tossed three scoreless innings of relief the very next day at Northern Illinois (4/25), earning a save by giving up just two hits with two strikeouts.
2011: Appeared in one game as a pinch hitter on Feb. 11 against Bradley at the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Ariz.
High School: Two-time all-state selection and three-time all-region first team honoree ... All-Big City team ... Recorded 126 strikeouts in 98 innings in 2007, compiled 186 in 111 innings in 2008 and 164 in 108 innings in 2009 ... Had a 0.45 ERA and a .385 batting average in 2009 ... High school has won the regional championship in all three of her seasons, making the state semifinals in 2008 and the title game in 2009 ... Also ran four years of cross country and played two years of soccer ... Played seven years of club with the Arizona Storm Gold ... ASA State and Hall of Fame champions ... Took fifth at ASA Nationals in 2008 ... Member of the National Honor Society, French Honor Society and Principal's List.
