Christine Christopoulos joined the Northwestern Softball staff ahead of the 2022 season. 

Her softball resumé includes three seasons at the collegiate level where she pitched for the University of Illinois from 2007-2009. In 2008, she appeared in 13 games for the Illini and led the team in saves. 

After college, her passion for sports led her to work various jobs in the sports world. Since 2014 she has worked for the Chicago Bears as Corporate Partnerships Coordinator. 

Christopoulos became a head softball coach for the Beverly Bandits in 2018 and served as a head coach for three years.  

Christopoulos’ first coaching job was at her alma mater, New Trier High School, where she coached for 2 seasons. As a player for New Trier, Christopoulos was a 4 year varsity starting pitcher, team MVP from 2004-2006, and she posted 1.01 ERA her senior year.
