Amanda Mehrsheikh graduated following the fall quarter of 2013 and served as the Wildcats Director of Softball Operations during the 2014 season.
2013: Made four pinch running appearances on the season, scoring a run against Middle Tennessee State (2/15) ... Big Ten Distinguished Scholar ... Academic All-Big Ten ... NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete.
2012: Appeared in 16 games as a pinch runner with eight runs scored ... NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete ... Academic All-Big Ten ... Also had one pinch hit appearance and one start as the designated player ... Scored her first run of the season against No. 19 Oregon (2/25) ... Crossed the plate three times during Spring Break 2012, scoring against Fairfield (3/16), LIU Brooklyn (3/18) and Hartford (3/20) ... Scored twice during Northwestern's Big Ten series at Wisconsin (3/31) ... Scored as a pinch runner against Minnesota (4/14) by taking second on a passed ball, third on a wild pitch and then sliding around the catcher to avoid the tag on a sacrifice fly--all in the same at bat.
